Check the filter material, Is there a hollow fiber membrane or only activated carbon?

1.The hollow fiber membrane is contained in the filter material.
2.There is no hollow fiber membrane filter material, and only activated carbon composite filter.

Open the back cover of electrolytic water machine, check the electrolytic water filter material.
(Electrolyzed water is not suitable for drinking after boiling)

Step :
Check the RO purifier below the desk whether there is a storage tank?

NO   
YES      We will regularly replace the filter, but no way to clean storage tank, so the tank has become a breeding ground for bacteria.



































































Recommendation :
The original RO water purifier to replace the fifth filter become hollow fiber membrane filter.

Storage tank is a breeding ground for bacteria, we use hollow fiber membrane to filter out the bacterias, as the last one to check the drinking water.

Check if there is pre-filter below the desk?

YES  
NO   Water quality is not suitable for direct drinking, should be boiled before drinking.
        It is strongly recommended to replace the filter in the water purifier with a hollow fiber membrane filter,
        or additional a filter containing hollow fiber membrane.

  • Activated carbon filter can be used to filter out chlorine in water.
  • Silver activated carbon can effectively inhibit bacterial growth, but it can not sterilization.
  • Ceramic filters are used to remove small contaminants, but 0.5 micron pore size does not completely remove all bacterias.
Water quality is not suitable for direct drinking, should be boiled before drinking.

Recommendation:
The last filter can be replaced with a hollow fiber membrane filter or a composite filter containing a hollow fiber membrane.

Or additional a filter containing hollow fiber membrane.
